My name is Rápido.

My journey began in 2013 when I was diagnosed with heart failure. In 2022, I received a heart transplant — a life-changing moment that gave me a second chance at life, but also brought unexpected challenges that reshaped how I move through the world.

A New Challenge After Recovery

After my transplant surgery, I struggled to walk. Living with neuropathy, nerve damage, and constant numbness made everyday movement difficult and often painful. Simple tasks like getting around or staying active became exhausting and frustrating. I found myself facing a new kind of limitation — one that affected my independence and quality of life.

Over time, I had to come to terms with something important: realizing I had a disability. At first, that was not easy to accept. Living with a disability can be tough — physically, emotionally, and mentally. But I also learned that there is nothing wrong with acknowledging it. It is simply part of the reality I live with, and understanding it helped me start finding better ways to move forward.

Discovering Electric Mobility

During this time, I discovered electric mobility. Small electric vehicles like e-bikes, e-scooters, and personal mobility devices became more than just transportation — they became a way to move again. They helped me regain a sense of independence and gave me the ability to navigate life with more freedom and less pain.

A New Perspective on Movement

Through this experience, I realized something important: electric mobility is not just about convenience or technology. For many people, it can be a bridge back to independence, dignity, and daily living. It can reduce strain, support those living with pain or disability, and open the door to a more active and connected life.

Why RápidaEV Exists

RápidaEV was created from this realization. Our mission is to help others with mobility challenges explore electric mobility as a path to independence, comfort, and enjoyment. We believe movement should be accessible, empowering, and adaptable to each person’s needs.
